Big slate today, lots of games with A LOT at stake, and lots of meaningless games today. As we approach the end of the regular season it’s important to know the circumstances of each game you’re betting on

Tigers are trying to get the 2 seed in the wild card. In order to do that they’ll most likely need a couple of wins this weekend. Game 1 is very important. While hosting the “hot” white sox they should take care of business. I say “hot” white sox as a joke, but they did just get their 1st sweep of the season

Mets are playing for a lot right now. They can secure playoff birth with a good weekend. We’ll take them on the road vs a good Brewers team that has already clinched and cant really move up or down in the seedings. Basically this game isn’t important for Milwaukee and is greatly important for the Mets. Doesn’t guarantee us a win, but it gives us the information we need to pick a side

Dodgers and Rockies should be a slug fest. The Dodgers are still playing for the #1 seed in the NL, that is important for them. I expect their offense to feast today. Rockies are obviously eliminated, but that shouldnt stop the bats from showing up for them either

Braves run line is a little sketchy at home. Its always risky taking a run line at home. Please remember that, I’m only throwing 1 unit here. The Braves are on the outside looking in. They have a legitimate shot to take over a wild card spot. That has to start today with a big win against a royals team also trying to secure a wild card spot. This game may have the most at stake out of any game today

Mariners and A’s over is a solid bet in my opinion. This season Mariners have been one of the most profitable unders to take, but thats not stopping me here. I think in this (pretty much meaningless) game the hitters will prevail

Reds and Cubs over is going to be our lunch money play. Both teams eliminated, but a lot of offensive weapons that I do not expect to just sit out today. Either lineup could jump on the opposing pitcher and make this an easy cash. Just 1 unit on this one as well
